Arches + Canyonlands
My sister and I had the opportunity to visit Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park in Utah, and it was an unforgettable experience. We visited in November, and I would highly recommend this time of year for anyone planning a trip. The weather was pleasant, the skies were clear, and we were able to enjoy the parks without the large crowds that are common during the summer months. Delicate Arch, one of the most iconic landmarks in Utah and featured on the state’s license plates, is especially popular in the warmer months, so visiting in November allowed us to experience it with plenty of space to appreciate its beauty.
This was my first visit to both Arches and Canyonlands, and I was amazed by the scale and uniqueness of the rock formations. Searching for the various arches throughout the park was both fun and rewarding, and seeing their massive size in person is truly humbling. I definitely had to bring my camera along to capture these incredible landscapes. In several of my photos, you can see my sister at the bottom of the frame, which provides perspective on just how monumental some of these formations are.
Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to return. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks offer breathtaking landscapes and a sense of adventure that is hard to match.
